AI Discovery Setup

ADD-ON

AI Discovery Setup

Modular pick-and-choose AI-discoverability add-on. Bundles onto any Voltage Build tier. You select the features you actually want — pricing scales with your picks, not a fixed bundle. See the comparison table for what's available at your tier.

AI Discovery Setup is a modular add-on for AI-discoverability work that goes deeper than what your tier baseline ships. Every Voltage Build (Spark, Current, Surge) already includes the AEO baseline — schema, llms.txt, AI crawler allowlist, question-format headings. What AI Discovery adds is the machine-readable infrastructure most contractor sites skip entirely: an auto-generated llms-full.txt at every build, a JSON SSOT that feeds both page rendering and AI surfaces, explicit Article schema for blog posts, and a full Rich Results Test sign-off with documentation. What gets added — and what it costs — depends on your tier. The comparison table below shows exactly which features ship at each tier, which AI Discovery adds, and which aren’t available anywhere yet.

What you get

  • Curated llms.txt expansion — extends your tier's manually-written file to 50–80 lines with attribution/linking requests for AI systems
  • Auto-generated llms-full.txt at build time — full markdown dump rebuilt on every deploy for AI systems that index full-text rather than indexing pages
  • JSON SSOT (services.json or products.json) — single source of truth file feeding both page generation AND AI-discovery surfaces
  • Article schema deployment for blog posts (BlogPosting / NewsArticle with author Person ref + citation array) — explicit at Surge tier; new at Current

Frequently asked

Why is pricing a range and not a flat number?
AI Discovery is pick-and-choose. The comparison table above shows every feature available at your tier — you select which ones you want and only pay for those. Floor at every tier is ~$500 (validation + handoff doc; the bare minimum that's always worth doing). The ceiling varies by tier because some features aren't applicable at lower tiers (Spark can't have llms-full.txt or JSON SSOT — there's nothing to dump or list). Current has the widest ceiling ($3,500) because every feature applies; Surge has a lower ceiling ($2,000) because it already ships most of the expensive features at baseline. The actual cost locks in your Statement of Work after we agree on which features you're picking.
How is this different from the AEO baseline already in my build?
Every DP build (Spark, Current, Surge) ships with the AEO baseline already — schema, llms.txt, AI crawler allowlist, question-format H2s. AI Discovery Setup is the deeper machine-readable layer the tier doesn't include. The actually-new pieces are the auto-generated llms-full.txt (full markdown dump at every build), the JSON SSOT (single source of truth for services data, feeds both page generation and AI surfaces), explicit Article schema for blog posts, and a Rich Results Test sign-off. The comparison table above shows the difference row-by-row.
What's the timeline?
1–2 weeks once your underlying site is live. Prerequisite is having content to wire up — the audit, the llms.txt expansion, and the SSOT schema design all benefit from real services + real content already in place. If you're sequencing a brand-new build plus this add-on, expect the AI Discovery work to start the week your site ships.
Can I add just specific pieces instead of the full add-on?
Yes — AI Discovery is intentionally modular. If you only want the JSON SSOT (no llms-full.txt or handoff doc), or only the Rich Results Test validation pass, we scope that during discovery and price accordingly. The tier prices above are the typical full-bundle cost; the actual scope locks in your Statement of Work.
